Moved jira ticket in backlog when changing status

The tickets of the other remote jira are always moved in the backlog during a modification on the other jira, how to block this operation?

      First thing - first - how is the backlog defined (ie what is the query, and what are the backlog statuses)
      Can you check what update on the issue is pushing it back into backlog?
