We have two instances:

  • Jira Service Management on Cloud
  • Jira Software on Server

Every organization (with employees / our customers) has its own project on JSM. Those projects have similar configuration. We would like to sync all of issues from all of projects on JSM to one project in Jira Software. Is this possible?
Can we sync every new issue in that way?

I tried to connect two JSM projects to one JS project but got an error  :

Unexpected error occurred while communicating with destination side. Error when posting sync request from sync event `328` to `http://NameOfInstance:8080`. NameOfInstance: Name or service not known Generate an exalate support.zip file and contact support.

You need to make sure that the http://NameOfInstance:8080/ is reachable from the internet.
The 'NameOfInstance is not a FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) - and hence not possible to reach, and using http: is absolutely not advice-able as you need to ensure that the communication between the internet and your Jira is encrypted.

Apart from all this - yes you can do the proposed mapping.
Just - fyi - Exalate has a large network of experts who can help you achieve your goals.
