Syncing comments after connecting issues

Hi,

We're trying to migrate and connect two instances of Jira servers (the new one is ours and older one with thousands of issues belongs to our contractor). Since we want to copy old issues, we first tried using bulk exalate, but it was taking about 10-15 seconds for each issue, then we tried export and import issues and connect them using connect option.

It worked almost fine and issues are now connected and in sync but we can't get it to sync old comments. we have enabled "Sync Back" and tried to initiate sync from both side but it never worked.

      Hi Sam,

We strongly recommend you to Bulk Unexalate to clean up the previous synchronization data, after this please go ahead and bulk connect again by selecting from advanced the option for sync comments since this is a key step to synchronize all of your comments' data.

For more information Bulk Unexalate, please go to https://docs.idalko.com/exalate/x/mwHBAg

      Kind regards,

      Harold Cruz
