1-2-many type of connection

There is a functionality that allows 1-2-many type of connection between projects and I was wondering what would be the use case in which to use this type of connection (the type of platform e.g. AzDO, Jira, etc. is not relevant here). In other words, why would I want to connect an instance/project of AzDO with multiple AzDO instances/projects?

      Exalate is really flexible and has many use cases, so it helps on providing flexibility and control over the issues that are being sync. Let me know if this was helpful, or you are referring to something in specific?
