What to do when an issue type is changed

Jira allows to move issues from one type to another.
We would like to move the corresponding issue on the remote system in the same way.
How can this be done

        Hi Daniel Carvajal 

        This approach is only possible if the configuration of both issue types is identical.
        In this case we have 2 different configurations.


        How would you implement following approach


        • When the target finds out that the issue type is changed on the source, unexalate and close the issue with a comment that a new issue will be created
        • Exalate again and add a comment on the twin what the old issue was
